Living Outside Ourselves

Today was like Christmas but better! Team ATS delivered the school supplies to the deaf students of Edgewood ISD. Thanks for your great love to make this happen. I spoke for 4 hours straight at Churchill HS (which has my heart and I saw my favorite guys!) and then I ran to the car to surprise our new friends at Edgewood. I originally could not go and was not on the schedule. In childlike wonder, we jumped into a car and rode around and brought backpacks and supplies as we surprised the students in class. At one point, we found a huge thing of cupcakes with “happy birthday!” on them. Once we discovered the Birthday belonged to a 4th grade girl, we paused and all rushed to sing happy birthday to surprise her class as well. // This is the joy of following Jesus and living outside of ourselves. You’re invited! @aidthesilent @deafyounglifesa @goodvibrationsmusicfestival @emmafayerudkin This is my last night as Miss San Antonio. The beautiful year ended with some of the best moments ever!
